What is this conference about?

The Living Evidence for Impact in the Community 2025 Conference is a dynamic platform dedicated to empowering the next generation of researchers in allied health. With a strong focus on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this conference champions innovative approaches that translate evidence into meaningful community impact.

Designed to support both undergraduate and postgraduate* students, the event provides a nurturing environment for emerging scholars to embark on their research journeys. Participants will have the opportunity to present original work, engage with experienced mentors, and explore interdisciplinary solutions that address real-world health and societal challenges. Join us as we advance the frontiers of allied health research and foster a new generation of changemakers committed to innovation, collaboration, and community transformation.

*Postgraduate: Includes Master’s, PhD, and residency-level participants (including medical officers, house officers, and equivalent).

Objectives

This conference aims to encourage students and early-career researchers to engage in SDG-aligned public health research and promote interdisciplinary solutions.

It will provide a platform for global collaboration, allowing medical universities and researchers to share knowledge and build partnerships.

It will bridge clinical medicine, basic sciences and public health strategies to achieve SDG targets and sustainable health impacts.

It will empower students and young professionals by equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to become future leaders in public health.

It will focus on practical solutions aligned with SDGs, showcasing how health innovations can drive progress toward the 2030 goals.

Exclusive Experience

In-person attendance with a virtual online component for those unable to travel, featuring pre-recorded presentations and live interactive sessions.

Abstract Proceedings Publication

All accepted abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be assigned an ISBN number and archived in the National Library of Malaysia.

We will award a total of RM 4000 to outstanding research for both Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) categories:
